The Blitz

Dear Lucy

I have been outside in the cold cruel world. A German soldier killed my mother and father.
I am a grown man but I miss them terribly. My mother was making her fantastic hot chocolate when a bomb hit her, my father jumped after her to save her but it was too late our mantel piece fell on top of his forehead. He was unconscious after that. I tried to wake him up but after so much blood loose he was helpless. Every single heart-tearing day London wakes up to find loved ones or buildings dead. London never gives up but we endure as much as we can to rebuild our city. I live in Long Elmes this is where the first ever bomb landed I feel unproud to live on a cold-blooded road like this. I hope I can move soon.

Miss you lots from
Edward
